What's Art but
an expression 
of one's deepest 
yearnings?
Nature yearns 
for oneness
with its creation
and so splashes
itself all over
without a plan
and envelops me
in its beauty.
And here I am 
expressing myself
in muted notes
and muffled voices
and guarded steps
my deepest desire to
give birth to
all that is beauty
and truth
and strength.
