You never count
what gifts you give
and keep giving
unmindful of

where and when.
Sunshine and
flowers aplenty,
fresh air and
fruit abundant.
I have thrived
and taken all that
with gratitude and
made my own
and I too have
something to give
of my flesh and spirit
and share that joy
and continue your epic

my veins and of all that
