Life was full
of pleasures
lived fully
giving and
receiving
carnal pleasures
and opulence
and after
all that fullness
there was emptiness.
Passions flowed and emptied.
Existence without
consumption
lost colours all.
Body without soul
was only
flesh to be
devoured.
And now
with this emptiness
aplenty
my existence
contemplates me.
